There is no pinch to zoom functionality in the stock email client on the Droid X. This is very disappointing since this is one of the most basic features one would expect from a new generation mobile device, like the X. When will the pinch to zoom capability come to the stock email client?
By not implementing this feature, Motorola has taken us back 3 - 4 years when it comes to user experience on a mobile device,
None of the Android OS iterations have it so it's not just a Motorola thing.
On my Droid Incredible, I can open an e-mail and use pinch/expand with my fingers to zoom in and out on the contents of the e-mail. Works great and is very useful.
On my Droid X, I cannot find where that the feature is available for e-mails and pinch/expand with fingers for zooming in/out appears not to be provided for e-mails. But that zooming feature is provided for HTML web pages.
