Plantronics MX150 Headset - How Do I Stop It From Activating Music on the Motorola Droid?

I just purchased the Plantronics mx150 headset.  I have the Motorola Droid, Android OS 2.2.

There is a single button on the headset.  It works for answering an incoming call with a single click.  If I'm on a call, a single click will mute it, and holding down the button for 2 seconds will hang up.  However, there's a wonky side effect of doing the long press to hang up.  As soon as the call is disconnected, my Droid starts playing music.  If I single click again, the music pauses.  Another single click makes the music start back up.

The instructions that were written on the box of the headset say that holding down the button for 2 seconds will activate voice dialing (which the Motorola Droid dose have).  However, instead of activating voice dialing, a long press brings up the play list list of songs as it starts playing a track.  Again, a single click only pauses and unpauses the music.

Is there any way to "unlink" the headset button from the music?  I don't use my Droid for listening to music, so I really don't want that feature at all.  Instead, I would rather have the voice dialing feature that the long press is supposed to activate.  I would also like to be able to end my calls without music automatically starting up as soon as the call disconnects.

Anyone have any ideas?
