I have been reading about everyone wanting 2.2 since it was announced by Google complaining that they do not have it yet...People bugging probably everyone, I now I wanted 2.2 and I have it works fine on my droid. {please keep your posts courteous}YOU ARE NOT OBLIGATED TO HIT THE DOWNLOAD BUTTON PEOPLE

No you're not obligated, but the download bubble keeps coming up and it's driving me nuts already.  So how on earth do you tell it NO???

There should be two options when the update comes....which are "update now" and "update later". Just tap update later

I have had no problems with the software.. it is the hardware with issues.
