Possible bloatware removal on Droid X2

It seems some of the preinstalled applications (games) can be removed from the Droid X2 and gone from the application drawer. The file itself is still in the system folder, but it is better than nothing. And it is ALL legal!

Actually, someone figured out that we can REMOVE CITYID ... I have yet to try it though, as it is already hidden on my phone -- LPP has a cool feature that allows you to HIDE any APP in the drawer that you don't want to see. From what I recall, you simply Launch CITYID, then don't configure it ... a prompt comes up asking if you wish to Uninstall it - say YES.

It is nice that Launcher Pro has that feature. I certainly employed that feature on my Eris.
From your description, it sounds like the similar process from removing CityID on the Thunderbolt. If it is true, the developer of the application is finally listening to users who don't use the the application.
