Power Issues?

My Droid Bionic has powered itself down two times now.  As well as freezing up, just looking at a black screen but the phone is turned on because I can see the green notification going off.  It is at first like the on/off button will not work to unlock but
there is more to it than just the button.  Something is wrong with the phone.

I did see this with the original Droid I had before but it was an older phone, that I had longer before this kind
of stuff started to happen.

Anyone else having similar issues?

I had the same thing happen to me on Saturday (I got my phone on thursday) and I had to do a battery pull.  My phone had been sitting idle for an hour or two and I was going to show my husband how awesome the phone is and it wouldn't turn on.  It hasn't happened since but makes me nervous....

I did email the guy that helped me in the store.....  He said to bring it in to switch out the battery.
This is also my 2nd Bionic within a week because they couldn't get the first one to connect to 4G, I am guessing something with the radio switch because other people had no problem with it.  Also, backup assistant does not want to work for me at all.
So after waiting 24 hours, changing the SIM card first, they replaced the phone.

Seems like a lot of issues right from the start :smileyindifferent:

Have you verified the apps you have installed are 2.3.4 compatible, maybe you got a app causing the device to hang...  That was a common issue when the Droid X got the 2.2.2 and 2.3 update..

Shay give this app a try its called system pannel if there is a bad app as wildman said there could be a possibility of it will show itself in the system pannel app.

you should'nt have to do a Fr but a System Cache Clear might help you clear things up. But if it's gets really bad An Fr might be your only option.  Next to Taking it back to the store for a new one. B33

I have to say that thus far my Bionic has been a superstar...certainly relative to my crappy Samsung Charge. Battery life is far better, reception is far far better and I haven't been getting any of the infamous 'no data connectivity' in the same spots I'd get them with the Charge.

At least thus far I'd say Motorola got it right.
