Problem with placement of Volume Rocker on Incredible 2

Hello, I have had my HTC Droid Incredible 2 on Verizon for several days, and I really do like the phone. I am though finding a problem with the placement of the volume rocker on the left hand side of the phone and hope HTC's Software/Development for the phone will read this, I would also like to know if other people are experiencing this problem at all. With the volume rocker being where it is, when you are using the phone in landscape mode in the direction HTC expects it to be (since the icons change to that direction) your finger placement on the phone to hold it leaves your left pinky(small) finger supporting the bottom of the phone directly on the volume rocker to lower the volume, and with this phone the volume rocker extends outside of the case of the phone so when you are using the phone in landscape your small finger is on the lower volume rocker and occasionally makes the ringer and volumes decrease. My solution to this for HTC's software/development would be to disable the volume rocker or make it inactive when the phone is placed in such landscape mode, therefore eliminating the ability to accidentally turn the sound off while using the phone in landscape. I also wonder if other people are experiencing this problem? If you hold your phone in landscape mode take note of where your finger sits on the case of the phone. Please let me know since I do enjoy using this phone and would love it if this problem was corrected.
Also on a quick note the only other problem I have with this phone is the reception, the phone seems to keep fluctuating between no bars and 3 bars, but while using a signal meter on the phone the dBm are staying consistent around -85dBm.. Also I am less then a 1/2 mile from a Verizon tower so my other phones on Verizon in my home always have FULL service.

I had the same problem with volume rocker but I flip the phone the opposite way. Home keys don't rotate that way but you still know what they are. I am also having the same issue with reception. I took mine to VW and she gave me a new phone however, I'm having the same problem and more!! Going back to see if I can get the other one back or get a new one!! I'm scared to switch to another type phone and get worse. I really like the phone & features. I'm very disappointed. I've been reading other reviews and it seems to be an ongoing problem with this model due to a new design of internal antenna and the placement of it. Not sure what to do!!

Yup, the placement sucks. So does the placement of the charging port. *shrug*

As far as the charging port location, I don't mind that much, but the bottom would have been much better.
