Problems texting to email address

If there is already a subject for this somewhere, please just point me in the right direction.

For a while now, everytime I send a text message to an email account the message goes through as blank. Sometimes if I resteart my phone, or remove the battery it'll work for one message, but that gets to be a pain if you are trying to have a conversation. Does anyone know a fix for this? Or will I be forced to set the phone back to factory settings?

I am a little confused, you are replying to a text message to a email accoint?  Have you tried tapping contact name and select email and then typed message?

Thank you wildman for your input. Lizzz1999, please give the suggestion a try. Please tap on your phone screen and select the send to field and enter an email address in your message to have it sent to that destination.
