Hello. I am using a droid (I forget which model) and I would like to switch to a new device. A Droid incredible 2 to be exact.
The incredible had some issues and I had to do a factory reset on it, and I haven't switched yet.
So when I tried starting it up, it went through the activation thing and wants me to enter a phone number for it, but it isn't active like that. So, there isn't a number to enter. Atleast not until I switch devices to that new phone.
So my question is basically: Did I cause any extra problems by doing this factory reset before switching to that device? Or am I still okay and can continue switching devices like I normally would? Should I take it to the store to make sure I dont mess things up? or can I do it online without a problem? Thanks!
