If you sign into your Gmail account with a Internet browser, you can edit and add to your contact list from there.

do you mean individual contacts or an entire contact list?

1) if you have a contact list & you want it on the dx, export from wherever it is, as a csv file, then within gmail contacts, on the pc, import the csv file into contacts & moments later they'll be on the phone.

2) individual contact to be added or edited, follow ann154's suggestion.
