For some reason the volume on my R2D2 is continually increasing even when it is at max volume it keeps trying to increase and making an annoying sound. My phone needs to work properly for work as I am on-call for emergencies, so I am wondering if anyone knows whats going on or how to fix this before morning when I will be able to go to a Verizon Store. Thanks.
Are you refering to sounds in general or to the alarm? If you are refering to the alarm clock, there is a section there that states Volume>Use increasing volume. Just uncheck it and the alarm will not automatically increase the volume. However, If you are refering to sounds in general, have no idea what's happening, truthfully.
I am referring to the regular volume. In this case it as if the volume up switch is being continually pressed even when it is at max volume. It makes a beeping sound, and it is difficult to go into standby or power down the phone as the volume increase box continually appears. I will be going to the Verizon store later this morning to deal with this a couple other issues that occurred during the night that were very weird. Will update with anything I learn to share with others who may experience this issue.
