I have installed Radar and was working great.  4.5 stars  However there was a Update for it which I have tried but keeps coming up as an "Error has occured". I have uninstalled and re  installed to no success and get the same message.

Any advice for this type of appl?

You can also try this, menu>settings>applications>manage apps> find your app...press clear data/cache then try the app again.

Sometimes a problem arises with installs and updates with the market.

One thing you can try.

Unmount the SD card, then try the install again. Don't forget to remount the SD card again.

To unmount the SD card.

  • go to Settings->Storage and press unmount SD card. You will get a notification that the card is unmounted and safe to remove.
  • Go to the market and try to install the update.
  • Don't forget to Mount SD card at the same place after the install.

If that doesn't work, then there might be a problem with the update in the market.

You could also mount the device and browse to /sdcard/.android_secure on phones sd card through the pcs Computer directory and delete smdl2tmp1.asec file and then reboot..
