For the last couple of weeks random emails have been sent to contacts from my contact list from my AOL account. I've noticed that since the OTA update, my Droid Incredible glitches horribly. Constant random re-boots, freezings, blank screens, etc. On 3 occasions the phone would'nt shut down, I had to remove the battery to do so. I don't know if my phones been hacked, my accounts been hacked or if it's just the OTA update. Solving the problem is slow going, and verizon has been absolutely useless. In the past 20 months I've had to send back 6 phones, 4 Droid X's and 2 ( soon to be 3 ) Droid Incredibles,... when do the ripoffs stop. You buy a purchase product in good faith paying a premium and being locked into a contract for 2 years ( and by the way, Verizon has also extended my contract 3 times when they replaced the phones ) with a reasonable assumption that you will be able to use said product for the duration, free of any hassels. Honestly I don't think that's to much to ask for but it's definately not what you get. This is my last go around with this company, when my contract is up... I am gone.

Hi freelyrik,
I understand your discontent; I would be frustrated if I experienced the issues outlined in your post with my service. As noted by previous poster (thanks!) some issues may result from Software Upgrades. This is usually caused by conflicts and compatibility between previous 3rd party application and the updated Operating System software on your phone.
Please note that a Factory Reset will most likely resolve all the issues outlined in your post as this will resolve conflicting errors and will remove any previous software that interfere with your phone's performance. Please keep in mind that performing a factory reset will remove ALL data including the Google account, system data, application data, application settings, and downloaded applications.

One thing to add it would'nt hurt to go even alittle deeper an an do a Format on the Sd Card an start fresh Completly as i have thought of doing My-self or pic-up a new Sd card that way there's nothing that can interfear with the new Os. Or hopefully it wont. Give this a try an see if it might help as as doing the FR.
