Reactivate deactivated Droid X as a Wi-Fi only device?

Hi all,

I have a Droid X phone that we're no longer using.  I was planning on giving it to the kids to use as wi-fi device around the house for playing apps, etc.  I did a reset on the phone, but now I can't get past the screen asking me to activate the phone, which I don't want to do...

Any suggestions?

Try this Work around.. when your Droid X powers up and is finished going through it's start up.. tap the power button to blacken the screen then re-tap it to wake it up as soon you do that tap each corner of the screen starting with the top left corner and go around it should take you to the home screen..

On my Droid X that I don't use any more I left my Google account in it so I can still use, While using Wi-Fi not long I put her threw the paces and Streamed music from Slacker for 22:00 hours straight she's can still do it as she did and that is at 3 years old..
