Try again calibration failed. If calibrated properly the compass turns green and a dialog box comes up. Keep trying it is a pain in the butt, may take a few tries until you get the calibration sequencwe down. pay attention to the video instruction and follow as closely as possible. Took me several times

I just got my phone yesterday and remember doing that but not sure if I did it correctly. How or where do I re-run it?
Go to settings>Location&security>calibrate compass
Thank you for the info. What is the reason for this compass calibration? I did try the gps and it was spot on. Should I double check and make sure it's calibrated correctly stll?
