Removing some pre-installed apps

Is it possible to remove pre-installed apps.  Some seem to launch themselves even though I'm not going to use them.  Specifically I am not finding a way (the uninstall button is not active) for CityID, AmazonMP3 and the Blockbuster apps - any ideas?

I really wish there was a way to uninstall/remove preinstalled apps. I find this incrediblely annoying that you can't do so!  argh

Actually I can't see whom kudos are from. The kudos are all messed up :smileymad:  Temp glitch.... Maybe it was my twin that gave me the kudos....maybe it was a nice person just coming along & doing it.

it is strongly suspected that motorola gets a kickback for allowing this apps to come "pre-loaded".  I have read, that you can remove the apps, but upgrades could fail if the apps aren't present.

My advise...just forget it and don't use them.  it annoy's me too, but you can't really do anything about - except complain.

True.....but at least on the computers you can uninstall the programs that come with your computer. Like internet explorer or MSN is installed on all the windows computer I have noticed. A person can uninstall it though by going through control panel.
