Reset options after update......

Some probably already know this, but thought I would share in case it helps someone out.  For those having major issues after updating to OS 2.2 (like I did / do), doing a factory wipe / restore seemed to help some.  Although you loose all settings, contacts, etc., at least you start with a fresh OS load, and then can re-install apps on top of it.

 

To access the options menu:

  • Power down your Droid Incredible
  • Press and HOLD the down button on the voume key
  • While STILL HOLDING down on the volume key press the power button to power on the device
  • Continue to hold the down button on the volume key until you are presented with a boot menu
  • Now release the down arrow and use the arrow button to arrow down to you menu selection you want
  • Once highlighted, press the power button to initiate the selected sequence

or go to settings->sd & phone storage->factory data reset.
