Ringtone issue

I downloaded a new ringtone yesterday from the Verizon website, when I tried to make it my notification/text ringtone it was not available, but when I went into change the ringtone for when someone calls it was there.  Why am I not able to use as a notification tone?

You have to create a folder on the internal user storage or external SD card using this path below for your tones to show up as notification tones.

(Root of the internal storage or SD card)/media/audio/notifications

Then you need to move the ringtone file that you downloaded to that notifications folder.

You can do the same thing with folders for "ringtones" and "alarms"
