Hello,
I have upgraded from my LG Chocolate cell phone to the Droid X. The Droid X is in shipping and will arrive by Wed.
I have a ringtone that I purchased in 2008 for my LG, from Verizon Wireless. Is there a way to transfer this ringtone to the new phone. I paid for the ringtone of course and am legal. I wish to continue using it. Can I record it as a sound file, and if so, what type should I use, on my PC and save it, and then save it to the SD card in the new phone and then choose that for the ringtone? Would that work?
Thanks, Debra

Usually is you bought the ringer offline you would have recieved a email, you should be able to open the email and redownload the ringer if you dont have option to save it on phone.... You can also try sendinging the file to yourself as a email and see what happens.
There is also a large amoung of free ringers apps on market like Zedge, maybe look into it.
