Ok so I have used Phonezoo.com to get some of my ringtones and I have the ESPN ringtone and I want to use it for media notifications but not sure how to use it because it doesn't show it as an option in the media notification in settings. The ringtone is downloaded as an MP3 anyone have any ideas?

Send a message to your phone number along with the desired mp3 file. When you receive the message on your Droid X, it should give you an option to use the attached mp3 file as a ringtone. If that is not exactly right, something very much like it should work.
In case you have not done so already, you can/should store the ringtone in your music folder. I believe these things together should work. If not, reply back on this thread and me or someone else will give more specific/accurate instructions. Enjoy your wonderful Droid X! In case you happen to experience problems with very low volume/speak function, please check out requested/proposed instructions here:

You can browse to the mp3 and one of the menu items is to set is as a ringtone. Once in the ringtone list, you should be able to apply it to other effects(not sure).
