I was trying to move my music from my computer to my Droid X and in the process have done something to my SD Card. It does not recognize it.Can't mount it. If i reformat it, will I lose all my contacts, phone numbers? I've already lost my pictures I've taken, so that's fine, but I'd rather not lose other things that I've put in my phone.

Your contacts and call log are stored on internal memory, as well as apps, text messages, and all your settings. Your card gets pictures, music, internet downloads and some apps put some info on your card. With the introduction of android 2.2 came the addition of the ability to install some apps on your sd card, though most will not do this automatically.

Just buy a card reader and copy the contents before you reformat it.
You can even run CHKDSK / Disk scan to make sure it's working OK.
