SLCD replaced with “Like –New” AMOLED – Why operating differences?

I purchased an Incredible with an SLCD display in mid Sept and mic died within 72 days.  I just received a “Like –New” replacement with an AMOLED display.  Both phones are running the same exact same software but I have noticed some differences. Why?

 

  1.AMOLED has a 3G with arrows going up and down on top right of screen, which is not on the   SLCD. Why?

 

 

  2. AMOLED’s  PRI of 1.28_002  and the SLCD’s PRI of 1.50_002



According to an article I read customers receiving “Like –New” replacements were supposed to receive the same screen type they originally purchased.
