:Hi Everyone,
I have just purchased the Samsung i510 (droid charge). I have had it a couple of days now. The first and main topic that I am going to talk about is the available LG charge base (WCP-700) and also the new battery back cover that needs to be purchased for the Charge. They are both offered at a very reasonable price and work great - BUT 2 things to be aware of - the instructions with the charge base state the blinking green charge light will light solid green when the battery is done charging. Well after thinking my base or back cover were bad I exchanged them and had this same issue ! The new case back is a couple of milimeters thicker then the original case, so any cases offered on the market will not fit properly (the $14.99 silicon case offered by Verizon works well and fits almost perfect because it is stretchy) I have tried the TRIDENT AEGIS case and no way it fit also the OTTERBOX COMMUTER and again way to tight. The other issue is with the charge base itself - The green LED is supposed to turn solid green when the charge is finished -IT DOES NOT the phone will viberate and tell you it is fully charged (which it is) but the light will continue blinking. Do not worry though the phones charging circuit will not let any more voltage (charge) into the phone at this point. The charger will remain slightly warm (no concern) that is normal because of the properties of magnetic induction charging (wireless charging). I have left my phone on the charger 8 hours after a full charge was sounded by the phone and there was absolutly no problem with safety issues to the battery or phone. So if you need a case for the Samsung Droid charge if you are using the Wireless charge pad offered by Verizon Get the black silicon case that cost $14.99 and also the new battery cover that is roughly $22.00 I love the fact I just place my phone on the pad - I here the beep from the pad and green LED starts blinking and that is it. When the charge is finished the phone will viberate and the display will read Wireless charge finishe. Again it will not hurt the phone if the green LED does not stop blinking, and it does not do this with all phones. So I would recommend this to all - Thanx
