In the past week or two my Charge has been freezing up. I have pulled the battery out and held it out for a minute or more, and it worked fine for a little while then started doing the same thing all over again. It happens at random times. It happened to me when I was using my GPS, text messaging, and surfing the web. I have had this for for eleven months now, and had loved it up until now. I have called the Verizon Tech Support and the guy wanted me to do a Hard/Factory reset. I can't afford to lose my data. Does anyone know any fixes other than a Factory Reset?

@dtw4ever,
I know a hard reset can be very inconvenient but if you spoke with tech support and was advised it would be the next step then I would suggest performing the hard reset http://bit.ly/w21WpW.
One more thing you can try is running the phone in safe mode http://bit.ly/n2EIBZ to see if the issue is caused by a 3rd party app.
Keep me posted of you need further assistance.

John B,
Phone is working fine now, didn't have to do a factory reset. I was talking to a friend and I read a couple of other forums, and found that running my phone on 3G vice 4G caused more problems. So since I have done the simple switch, I haven't had any issues with my freezing or anything. Thanks for your help!
