I cannot get my screen to lock on the Droid X. If I power off and back on, the screen lock appears. If it just times off to a black screen the lock does not appear when it comes back up.
Try setting your Security lock. Here are the steps. HTH!
From the home screen, touch the applications tab (located at the bottom of the display).
Touch Settings.
Touch Location & security.
From the Security section, touch Security lock.
Touch Security lock type.
Touch Passcode lock.
Enter a passcode then touch the checkmark.
Re-enter the passcode then touch the checkmark.
Start a new topic or ask questions in the open forum.
