I am looking for a full-featured IMAP email client, specifically for the Droid. Basically, I'd like to see something that operates like Thunderbird.
Here are some specific features I'd like to see:
1) Ability to see IMAP server folders and move messages between the folders. Droid's built in app can see the folders (hooray!), but I can't find a way to actually move messages from the inbox to a folder. Being able to access the folders is a huge step over my Treo, but if I can't move messages to the folders, it loses a lot.
2) Ability to "view unread". Once I've read a message in the inbox, I want it to be hidden from view. The current app requires you to actually delete the message to remove it from view. Treo supports this.
3) Support for email signatures. Come on, folks, this is basic! I'm really surprised this isn't included in the built in app.
4) Ability to set a "reply to" address. Even my Palm Treo let me do this.
Thanks!
I'm searching for the same thing. Email on the Droid definitely needs some work.
Try K-9 Email.
I'm using it on my Eris, and it's better than the default email app.
You can get it through the Android market.
It's free.
