Settings for the office

I own a Droid 2 and just wanted to know what settings everyone uses on their phone when they are at work. Do you keep your notifications on and if so are there ringtones associated with them? What about phone calls...is the ringer set to on or are you using the vibrate?

The reason I'm asking is because I don't want to miss out on knowing I have an email, text, voicemail or fb update but at same time I don't want my notifications/alerts to disturb my co-workers or my boss since they tend to come in frequently.

Let me know your thoughts!

I turn down the ringer and notification sounds, but my headset will announce my incoming calls and read my text messages.

I always know when I have an email because of the blinking green light.

i have a dock that sits on my desk, so everything is on vibrate and i can visually see when i get a notification.

i work in customer service but its a low ranking job even so the boss is strict but i keep my phone on and its normally noisy at work so no one notices unless a call comes through but i can easily ignore those because i keep my phone in my pocket. i dont do it but if your really worried about it set up the option while at work to hit the power button to end a call. settings>accessibility>power button

I use a Sound Manager to schedule when to have my volume down or silent while at work and other times.  When notifications come in I can see it with my LED or trackball.  There have been apps that I have heard of, but have not needed to use them.  They are No LED and Missed Call.  These particular apps provide a visual notification on your screen.

I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.
