Shared Calendar Event/Appt.

At one time, I had synced my work outlook calendar to my Motorola Q.  I then upgraded my phone to Droid X and all my calendar events/appointments got transferred over.  Now I can't remove any events/appts that were originally added as a shared item from my spouse's outlook calendar.  Any ideas? 

When I open the event the only thing I can change is "add a reminder."

When you open the item do you open it as occurance or as the series...  I only see the option to add reminder only under the occurance, if you sekect the series option I believe you should get the options you are looking for.
