Like the title says..........I have had mine since release date and had no issues at all. I am actually only on this site so that I can order one for my wife as well. The camera is awesome as well as all of the other features. I am prepared to pay upwards of $200

Thanks for the offer. I guess I gave the wrong impression here. All that I was trying to say is that I am purchasing one from Verizon for my wife and I have no regrets. In reference to the people that complain about the phone. Thanks for the offer though.

I think that we must be careful to discern the bomb throwers ("Alert - do not buy this phone before the so-called 4G network, whatever that is depending on who you ask, is activated" - or something like that) from the people who are having genuine problems and can't seem to get a decent resolution to their problems. I've been stuck with a crappy phone before (remember that old Nokia in the middle 90s that was a slider phone - in fact, my most problematic phones have been Nokias) and the feeling that you have to spend a few hundred dollars to outright get another phone is maddening. I guess that this forum serves as sort of a punching bag ("This phone sux, Verizon sux, this forum and all of you sux", and on and on) for those with frustrations. But it is gonna happen.
I must also say that when I've had an issue, the Verizon folks have been really good about resolving the issues. My most recent issue is described here... http://community.vzw.com/t5/DROID-Incredible-by-HTC/Not-a-good-start-guys/td-p/334279 This has been the biggest issue I've had so far and it's on its way to a resolution (And I won't be posting anything to the tune of "The Droid Incredible sux!").
And yes, I've responded with less than patience to some of the negative posts about the X, but I do try and put myself in the shoes of someone with real problems and I either respond with what I think might help, or I just don't respond (anymore...)
But as always, the day ain't over....

Out of the many people who got a Droid X, maybe 10% have had problems, some big, some little. That's the way the world turns. Actually, if you look at some of these problems, they have been self-inflicted, not Verizon, not Motorola, but the user him/her self, Downloading one apps after another until two apps fight for the phone. Dropping the phone on a nice soft concrete floor, not following instructions, and so on. I've had the Droid X for about four or five months now with no major problems. Sure, it hiccupped now and then, but what electronic or mechanical device doesn't on occasion? Some I was able to fix by myself (normally a soft reboot), some I've had help with through this very forum. Gerio and I also had the HTC Incredible. Neither of us have one today. For me it was just that the cons of this phone outweighed the pros. Gerio couldn't even get off the ground with his. Love my Droid X and will keep it.

I must admit I can be one of the worst to dismiss someone's complaint. I try to help people when they post frustrations then list a problem. But on the occasions where someone doesn't mention what their problems is, has a post count of 1 or 2 and is only blasting the phone, I just can't help myself.
I wish these forums had to be tied to an account so that we would know for certain that someone with a complaint actually has the phone and not just an Iphone fanboy that is insecure in their choice.

I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.
