Silenced Phone When Face Down

So, I might just be dumb, but it seems to me that there at least used to be a setting on the Droid X that allowed it to be silenced, whether or not you have the sound on, if you placed it screen side down.  Does anyone know how to reach that setting on the phone?  I'd appreciate your help.

It was removed, I believe that option was removed with the 2.2.1 update because of issues.

Tasker can do it.

If you long press the power button and choose "Silent Mode", doesn't this do the same thing as placing the phone face down used to?

I agree - used to be a very nice feature prior to GB ...  I used it very often. and yes Dirk - power button / silent does the same thing, but that's just extra steps than what used to be provided with a simple turn-over of the phone.
