I was told you could tap the Droid X phone while it is ringing to silence the ring....or turn the phone face down on table top. Is this true as I am having trouble getting it to work.
Those must both be enabled in the settings option. Once set I believe it's a double tap to silence.
Crb72 is correct. You first must set it up. Setting>Sound. Scroll down to Smart Sensor Settings and click on the two items. I should also tell you that some people have had trouble with their phones when these two items are checked. So if your phone starts acting crazy, uncheck them.
