How do you skip a line or two when composing a text message? The "return" key is no longer showing up in text messaging (pretty sure it used to?); now it's an emoticon key. The return key shows up in other applications, just not for text messaging.

That is a good question. I know that line breaks don't work well with word wrap on most phones though because they format to fit the screen on the device. You could use the swype keyboard, it does not have the smiley face.

I already am using the Swype keyboard; it does have the "emoticon" key instead of the "return" key when you are in text messaging.

ic, well then your only recourse is to use the space bar.
