I have been able to reproduce this issue on 2 different devices now and am not sure how to repair it.
I own the vehicle dock, and webtop adapter. The devices used to work as intended (when the phone was inserted into either device the proper applications load)
However after installing various applications from the android market my device works as intended with accessories, until I do a factory reset, then my device no longer recognizes the webtop adapter or the vehicle dock.
I took my accessories into the local verizon store, where a rep was able to test their bionic and confirm the accessories work just fine.
The first time this happened, Verizon simply replaced my phone. This is now the second time.
I have tried doing a factory reset from the GUI as well as from the system recovery.
My phone is not modified in any way other than installing a host of various android apps from the market and amazon store.
I have done some searching and even used RSDLITE to restore a system image, but my phone still fails to recognize any accessories.
HDMI out works in mirror mode and the device charges while in the car dock. I have even tried booting in safe mode and the accessories are still not recognized (but HDMI out works as does USB charging) The device also fully works transfering data over USB.
I am outside of my replacement warrenty so I do not want to return my phone again, but am open to any options.
