I've had the Incredible 2 for 6 months and it was working fine untill about a month ago. It will do a soft reboot anytime I hit the home or back key out of apps or texts. I am also finding it is getting harder to use the slide bar when trying to answer the phone. Help any suggestions on getting the rebbot to stop....and easier ways to answer a call????

Hi Sheyl,
It must be frustrating to have phone reboots when hitting the home key and not being able to answer your incoming calls with ease. It sounds like a combination of things may be causing these issues. First try Clearing Temporary Files as this will improve your phone's overall performance and may resolve the issues outlined on your post.
Third party applications may also be the reason for your phone's reboots and lack responsiveness. Run your phone in Safe Mode for a while. Safe Mode temporarily disables all applications that have been installed via the Android Market. Performing this troubleshooting step is necessary to determine whether a 3rd party application is the cause of an Operating System / Application issue. If phone works properly in Safe Mode I recommend uninstalling all 3rd party applications and re-installing them one by one to determine which one is conflicting with your phone.
Finally, if none of the above options resolve the issues a Factory Reset will be the next troubleshooting step to bring your phone back to normal performance. Please keep in mind that performing a hard reset will remove ALL data including the Google account, system data, application data, application settings, and downloaded applications.
