Sounds from a Picture Message

IF I receive a sound or song from a picture message can I save it to my phone and have it set to a ringtone??

Not sure, but you can try long pressing the picture in your conversation list and see what the options are.

Unfortunately you are not able to receive a sound or song from a picture message and set it as a ringtone. I apologize for the inconvenience. You can download ringtones from the Media Center.

My sister in law sends me messages with my little niece saying cute things to me and i save them.  I guess with the droid I cant do that anymore.  This phone was supposed to make me happy and the longer i have it the more i want to get rid of it.  I want to go back to my LG voyager.

Sure you can...just long press on the original message and if just one picture or sound is attached, you can select "save picture" (or audio)...or if more than one is attached, select "save slideshow"... The picture(s) and/or sound(s) will be saved to the "messaging" folder, which you can then move (using file manager)  to whichever folder you want!
