Stuck in Airplane mode

My Charge is stuck in Airplane mode. I have turned it off then on, removed the battery and also the sd card. Nothing works. I now own a 2 day old $300 paperweight. Would appreciate any advice. Thanks jim

make sure your mobile data is turned on... from the home screen at the top swipe your finger down and the second icon from the left should be illuminated...if not tap the icon and it should turn yellow. You can also go to menu, settings, wireless & networks, scroll down to mobile networks, make sure the checkmarks are lit on use packet data and data roaming. See if that helps

In order to exit Airplane mode, it was necessary to reset (hard boot).  Thanks, but nothing else worked.
