Suggestion to Verizon: Car Charger Cable

Good afternoon
I just had to replace the car charger cable (one that connects to the window mounted car dock) because the housing on the end of the cable, the part that attaches to the car dock, separated due to excess pressure (I had nothing but wires attached to what looked like a flat telephone cable chip). The shortest distance between the car dock connection point and my charge point (in an SUV) is too long for the cord to stretch comfortably. My suggestion is for Verizon to either manufacturer a longer cord or somehow loosen the coils. The coils are so tight that they don't allow for any relaxed stretching. I have several friends that have the same complaint. Newer vehicles have a longer distance to the front windshield and very few have an ashtry so the charger connection is often lower in the console or even further back (like mine) inside the armrest. In my car, I couldn't even get enough stretch to even connect the cable to the car dock.
HELP!

Sent the e-mail...I was looking more for a "Suggestions" area where I didn't have to fill in all my info but, oh well Response back said they forwarded the suggestion to marketing. They are also trying to determine if they can special request a longer cable for me...will see.
