I just received my replacement and the tech at Verizon told me he couldn't switch my contacts but i should be able to from home. my phone was damaged and still works but i can't change any settings. I have alot of military contacts on here. any suggestions?
I can help get your contacts on the replacement phone. Were the contacts Backed up using the application called Backup Assistant? If so here's a great link explaining how to restore your contacts: http://support.verizonwireless.com/how_to_use/backup_assistant.html
They also may have been backed up to your Gmail account. If so they will resync with your replacement, when you add the Gmail account to the device. You can also log in to your Gmail account on a laptop or PC and view your contacts.
