With my Blackberry Curve I could sync with Wireless Sync, what do I have to do to achieve the same result with my DroidX?

I ran into the same problem when I upgraded from my windows media phone, and so far I ended up using a program called the missing sync, it syncs calendar, contacts, notes, and a few other things as well, but I don't think it supports tasks, the thing I like about it most is that you can have it sync over WiFi if you wanted to which comes in handy.

Well what I did when I upgraded from my Blackberry Storm was I had the Verizon store people transfer my contacts from Storm to X and then I updated all my contacts via the computer on GMail Contacts page. Secondly I downloaded a program called "Google Calendar Sync" which you can find here:
http://www.google.com/support/calendar/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=89955
If you only do a one time sync you can delete the program after you transfer everything into Google Calendar then use it from there because Google Calendar and the Calendar on your X auto-syn.c Otherwise leave the program running on your computer and you can have it auto-sync between outlook and Google every two hours or whatever time you choose.

I had the same problem until I installed a app from companionlink.com and downloaded Deja office for droid X. I can know download all my office info like my contacts, calendar, notes and tasks to my X and then to the application contact. This will then allow you to download to a sync sys. In your car.

I suggest you go to www.syncdroid.net and look over their chart. You choose which wireless solution you want (Wi-Fi or Verizon) and what you want synced (looks like you want calendar, contacts, tasks, and notes). You will probably find that gSyncit is what you want to use, but you will need to install a couple of extra apps on your Droid to look at the Tasks and Notes. The overview for gSyncit at Syncdroid will let you know what you need to do.
