My most recent search of community discussions indicates there are system updates available for the Droid X since Dec. 10, 2010. My phone currently has version 2.3.15.MB810. Newest is supposed to be 2.3.340.MB810. When I try to update I get a notice that says check for update not available. I just left my local Verizon store where I was told I couldn't download any newer system than what I have because Verizon hasn't tested and approved any newer version. Seems bogus to me - any comments. I really hate getting a run around from salemen.
You are correct ... that is the latest release from December ... I would "escalate" the issue -- either in Store or via Verizon phone call to Tech Support.

I would just call Verizon's support number (*611) and generate a problem ticket and ask to (please) be put in contact with tech Support ... My experience has been they're very good as long as you are also professional and friendly ... YMMV
