TEXT Messages arriving late

Hi All, So I know everyone or most seem to have the issue with texts being out of order after the Froyo update but has anyone experienced texts being delivered late?  Sometimes people are getting my texts like 3 hours late.   If anyone else is having this issue please let me know if you've found a fix.  The most recent issue has been with an iphone user... Message were at least 3 hours late.

This has been a issue with Verizon and AT&T (iPhone more than other devices) for some while and there hasnt been any fix for this because it seems to be a network conflict issue.

I have had issues before with text not showing up for hours at a time, but not on the X. It is an issue with the network, not the phone. There can be any sort of issues like overloaded server, unable to locate your phone right away, a computer hangs after receiving but before delivering the text, and other sorts of things can go wrong.

The phone can only receive what it is sent. Delayed text are never the fault of the phone, but a problem with the delivery network.

Try dialing *228 send and option 2 on your phone to update the PRL.
