Text message sounds

I am new with the Incredible and must say so far I love it.  Im confused how can I make my text messages have ringtone alerts?

use an app like zedge or ringdroid or something (i also like "missed call"). the stock options are pretty limited, but there are apps the will do what you want

if ur using yahoo or aol u'll need to go menu>settings>sounds>notifications to set a ringtone for them:then set your tone.

for gmail hit ur arrow up key on main disp. tap gmail tap more>settings>scroll down to notifications check email notifications if u want to no when ur email arrives for gmail then select ringtone an then U can have a seperate ringtone for yahoo or what ever ur choice is an your gmail account.!
