This is a peer to peer help/discussion forum. If I understand you correctly you wish your droid had the ability to add a signature to txts. I personally hate txt signatures and would never use one, but that's just me.
Open your stock txt message app, then click menu button on your phone and scroll down. Under sms/mms settings you will find "Message signature" check the box and below it is a "edit signature" button.

If your stock message application doesn't allow signatures, you may have to try a third party app from the Market. I believe that I have read Handcent will allow signatures.
On a side note, I agree with crb79's opinion about having signatures in the first place.

@Ron
That signature is the same as your "Go Gators". It's on the website. For text messaging I don't care for it plus I don't even have the option in my stock messaging app. Besides I wanted to say I don't need the Sywpe keyboard on my phone. To date SwiftKey is the only application I have purchased for my Eris.

@ann. I only have Go Gators on my email signature, I wrote it in when I wrote that. I only use it in email and think it would be a waste in a text. I use swiftkey. It knows what I want to type before I do LOL. I also have Swype, I have a beta account with them and I use that in portrait when typing. I did get swift key for $.99.
Sent by me on my OG Droid. LOL.
