I ordered a Droid X from Telesales(phone) and the representative did not know anything about when the "Thank You " package will arrive. Can anyone shed some light? Does it arrive after/before the phone.
Thanks in Advance

When did you order your phone? It was my understanding those that ordered the Droid X on the first day it was available (back mid-July) were the ones receiving the Thank You Packages. If you did not order it on the first day, don't expect a thank you package.

Is this Thank you package sent to everyone who ordered the Droid X on the first day regardless of when they actually received the phone?

I bought (and paid for) my Droid X on 7/15 along with virtually every accessory (and Verizon service) sold for the phone at a corporate Verizon store (I was there early in the morning and bought it the first day that it was available for sale).
--
I have received no thank you package.
--
Some people who purchased their Droid X's at a Verizon corporate store on the first day have received their thank you packages weeks ago. Many others such as myself have not received any such thank you package.
--
So it seems that whether you purchased or ordered your phone on 7/15 is not the factor that determines whether or not you are going to receive a thank you package.

The Droid t shirt and some flyers. The Tshirt is very nice. I bought on first day at a small Verizon company store in Rochester New Hampshire and the unexpected "thank you" package arrived about 3 weeks later. They couldn't have been more helpful. I even went back a couple of days later (overwhelmed) for more instruction. Excellent service there and very satisfied with the X.

I do not understand how the question posed/issue raised in this post has been "solved". The "solution" is simply inaccurate. Dozens and dozens of Droid X owner reports from numerous forums and websites across the internet provide many, many counterexamples to the "solution" provided here. (Just read my own reply posted above for one counterexample.)

Could someone please get the "solved" removed from this thread? If not, could someone please explain this allegged "solution"? I could collect and post links of other counterexamples from many, many forum postings, but I do not want to violate the Communnity Forums Terms of Service by being repetitive.

Only the user that started the thread has the ability to change the "solution solved". The person would have to report the post/thread to a moderator & say to change the solution solved. So basically it's up to the user to do it....not us

To The GreatOne:
I also asked your question on this forum. Try doing a search for the answer. In addition to an answer to your question, another thing you will find is counterexamples to the alleged "solution" provided in this thread. That solution is simply inaccurate. Could someone please fix this?
