The Assumed Situation......

So am I correct in the following assumptions?

1) The Gingerbread update was "rolled out" in early Sept. but discontinued when people started reporting problems

2) No one has been updated for the last week or two (I'm curious to know when they pulled the update)

3) No word from Verizon or HTC as to when 1) the initial update will be fixed or 2) those of us yet to receive an update will receive the "new improved" version

Thanks for your input . . . :smileywink:

Sounds like good assumptions. Now if we could get any actual answers, that'd be a miracle....

It's been 3 weeks now so  When will my phone get the update? Has the update been stopped/pulled because of problems? If so, when will it resume?

How about those three?

I don't believe anything has to be wring with your phone to discuss it on thus forum , my complaint about a lack of customer support was moved to thus forum simply because I mentioned my model of phone

I am assuming it has been delayed as well.  My phone hasns't got the update either like a lot of other people.  Last week of September this week, and they have been pushing it out since the beginning of the month.  I would think 4 weeks would be enough time to update all the phones, unless it has gotten delayed/pulled.  So the posters assumptions sound logical.

Now if we could get an answer from Verzion officially where they are with the update, that would be great.

part of the problem is that verizon employees likely don't even kow. i just don't understand why EVERYTHING has to always be so hush hush. just post a simple message that states it has been pulled back and many people would be fine with that.
