I just got my Droid Charge a few days ago and today my phone decided to turn on the Swype key feature or I did something that turned it on. How do you turn it off to make it go back to just a normal text mode??
With swype, you can just tap out words if you like or, to disable it and use the regular keyboard, long press in any text field, select input method, and select a different keyboard.
If I could inject my personal opinion here, I think you should give swype a chance. I use that keyboard exclusively and, while there is a bit of a learning curve, I think it works really well and can be easier to use. But, like I said, that is just my opinion.
