Does anyone know the real factors that determine who gets thank you packages?
The answer is certainly not those people who purchased/ordered their phone on launch day (7/15) as erroneously reported as a "solution" to the question here:

Could it simply be a random selection? Could it have to do with how many years you have been a Verizon wireless customer? Could it involve how many lines/phone numbers you pay for? Could it be a combination of factors, or different clusters of different factors? If anyone has inside info on this matter, please share here. Also, if anyone can contact the requisite people to fix the erroenously marked "solution" in the post/thread above, please do so - this would be a service to the forum and would prevent the forum from giving seemingly authoritative but nonetheless false info to forum users.
