K this is really ridiculous. Does Verizon not care about there customers satisfaction! I've went through 3 phones of the same. This last phone I just activated and the lock button started intermediary working. And I call them they said they would upgrade my phone to the Droid incredible 2 from the Droid incredible. Now I am suppose to receive it tomorrow, although my mom is having simaler problems and she is on her third phone and is having problems with it to. Went to the version store they wiped it and nothing helped they told her to call. So she did and they told her the same thing and today she got the same phone she had... what is going on here. So the manager declined her order to upgrade her phone... so they don't back up the phones huh.. what's thus about.. she called Motorola they dis the same thing said they would send her the same phone.... am I gonna get the same deal to.. we are about ready to get rid of Verizon and go to Sprint or ATT. Will a manager or some one high in Verizon reply .. if these issues don't get resolved we will terminate our contract... let's hope you care about your customers and keeping them! Shall we! Thank you

There are hundreds of thousands if not a million of these phones in service. For you and your Mom to have the exact same problem with six phones, the issue is pointing toward the users.

 

Have you even downloaded the manual and read it????

 

And as this is a customer to customer site, you will not be hearing from a manager or a 'Higher Up'

You are having issues with multipliable devices... Chances are it is something you are doing with them more them being defective. I mean really 3 phones...

 

The manufacture told you you would get the same phone, why are you holding Verizon to a higher standard than the people that make the phone? Verizon is a service provider, they provide service.

 

 

Going to sprint or att isn't going to change anything. They all have the same manufacturers and similar phones.

 

You bought Phone A at a discounted price, your warranty is on Phone A. If you have a problem with the phone you will get Phone A as a replacement.. That's how it works, standard practice across the board of any electronics..

No its not the same problems! They a are different. Although we my speaker has blown twice now!... that is the same.

i agree with the others.  if your going through many phones, it could be something your doing

it could be an app your installing or any number of other factors

 

 

oh and please try to use spell/grammer check.

I mean really people?!?! taydistel is trying to get HELP or, if nothing else, someone to let her vent and this is the reaction you are giving?!?! To bash taydistel and tell him/her that what (s)he is doing is WRONG?!?! Wow, well I agree with him/her cause I've also had the same problem, but not with my Incredible. Sometimes it's just a BAD phone model. In the case I had, it was my daughter's phone and it was a Samsung. After returning 3 phones in a 2 1/2 month period, we were finally told that she could change to a new model altogether and had no issues with it after that. My mom, however, did have multiple problems with her Incredible. After she went back to Verizon with problems on her third Incredible, the manager just upgraded her to the Incredible 2...she's had no problems since! So, I do believe taydistel can have problems with these handset because, lets face it, they are not the greatest as we can all see now....and yes, it is NOT impossible for Verizon to say they are giving the Incredible 2 in its place for the customer's troubles. Lets be kind and understand that sometimes these phones just don't work.  taydistel, I hope you get your phone situation rectified quickly. :smileyvery-happy:
