This "may fix" a mis-behaving Verizon APP

Here is a possible FIX if a Verizon pre-installed APP is not working properly.

 

Try reinstalling the APP that seems to be mis-behaving.  To do this hold your finger in an empty area of your home screen for a few seconds.  Then an "Add to Home Screen" page will come up.  Touch shortcuts.  Then touch Applications and wait a minute or so for the entire list of Applications to come up. Then go down the list of APPs to whichever APP it is that you want to re-install. Touch that APP and a new copy of that APP will be put onto your home page.

 

Next, clear that APPs Cache by going to Menu>Settings>Applications and touch Manage Applications.  Touch Third-Pary at top of display.  Wait a minute or so for all the Icons appear.  Then go down the list to whatever APP it is that you want to clear its Cache.  Then clear that Apps Cache.

 

On the other hand, if that APP is NOT in the Third-Party list then touch Running at the top of the display and go down that list to find the APP that you just re-installed and want to clear its Cache.  Then clear that APPs Cache.

 

This may work in getting a mis-behaving Verizon-installed APP to be more friendly and working properly again.
