The volume of my callers is really loud, even when the volume is turned all the way down. This was an issue about a month ago, and the technician from Verizon had me remove the battery and reset the phone, which worked for a while, but now, its back, and my ear is hurting after conversations. Any thoughts?

isn't this only going to be a temporary solution?
When in a call, have you pulled the phone away from your ear to see that the volume level bar is decreasing???
Thanks for writing. Yes, I have checked and the volume meter is as low as it can go.
Do you know if your Inc has Froyo??? I know prior to Froyo there was a hearing enhancement option which is no longer there with the update.
