Well got up this morning and seen the upgrade was ready for my phone. How long does it take to download. its been well over 30 minutes right now and still counting. It shows its downloading. thats it . to all that have upgraded is this the norm or did I mess up my just about perfect phone?

Got on the landline and called customer service/ tech support. Pulled down the notification bar to check the status of download. It was hung up at 31%. The very helpful lady told me to pull the battery, reinstall it. Then go back to system updates. The status was downloading system software. We went back to the notificaion bar and indeed it was downloading again, within a minute it was done. Next step was to install software everything went fine there. Phone rebooted and the software update was complete. Now its time to see if it makes a difference in phone performance. I must say I was very happy with the tech that worked with me. She did a great job and stayed with me until we both knew things were working properly.
